Friendsgiving Trail Celebration & Fundraiser

Free BEER & wine - RAFFLE - LIVE MUSIC - AUCTION - Food Available

Join Southern Colorado Trail Builders on November 21 for a Friendsgiving celebration of the incredible work done by the organization supporting trails in the Pueblo region! 

The event will be held at Brues Alehouse from 5:30 - 9:00 PM and will feature LIVE MUSIC from Mark’s Midnight Carnival Show, a RAFFLE of goodies from local businesses and a SILENT AUCTION for Bike and Pueblo-related Goodies. A select number of the most ICONIC, HISTORIC TRAIL SIGNS from the Lake Pueblo State Park trail system will also be LIVE AUCTIONED! Take home a piece of Pueblo history and support the organization maintaining and improving the trails at the lake.

Tickets are $35 and include a voucher for a free beer or glass of wine, a commemorative glass for the event and a raffle ticket.

Southern Colorado Trail Builders has made significant investments in the local outdoor recreation scene through its volunteer network. Some of these projects include: 

  • Implementation of the Trails Management Plan at Lake Pueblo State Park in 2022 including sustainable reroutes of certain trails, installation of technical trail features and new and improved signage

  • Hosting two women’s mountain bike clinics with world-renowned instructor Lindsey Richter, and offering scholarships to local women who would not otherwise be able to participate

  • Continuing the Trails Bash event inviting the community to celebrate and use the trails at Lake Pueblo State Park and providing a free lunch for attendees

  • Sponsoring the magnificent mural artwork on the Arkansas River Levee by Dan Levinson

  • Monthly maintenance of the trails at Lake Pueblo or the Pueblo Mountain Park 

    • 2022 – 650 volunteer hours

    • 2023 – 715 volunteer hours 

Spend an evening giving thanks for the world-class trails we have in Pueblo, CO! Join us at Brues Alehouse for a night of fantastic music, delicious food and the chance to take home some Pueblo trail history. Get plugged in with the organization and learn how you can give back to the community with our regular trail days! 

Southern Colorado Trail Builders is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to building and maintaining sustainable trails, growing our trail community, and fostering relationships to support a healthy Southern Colorado. We do this through trail projects, trail maintenance, education and community outreach.

Who should come?

ANYONE who enjoys spending time on trails and supporting Outdoor Recreation.

Cost:

$35. The cost includes a voucher for a beer or glass of wine (only redeemable during the event), a commemorative beer glass and a raffle ticket, and Live Music! (Ticket fee not included.)

There will be beverage and food service in the event room. Other than the free beer/wine voucher, the cost of food and beverages is not included in the ticket price.

  • 6:30 pm - 7:15 pm: Enjoy the music of Mark’s Midnight Carnival Show.

  • 7:15 pm - 7:45 pm: RAFFLE and TRAIL SIGN LIVE AUCTION.

  • 8:00 pm: Silent Auction bidding closes.

  • 7:45 pm - 8:30 pm: More music from Mark’s Midnight Carnival Show.

  • 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Pay for Silent Auction Items.
